There are some good reasons why you should leave your phone out of your bedroom and buy an alarm clock if you tend to oversleep.

And the first thing is “
hypervigilance”.
Hypervigilance
refers to the experience of being constantly tense and on guard. Somewhere in your subconscious, you will be expecting a call which will only make you tenser and less prone to relaxation.
But the actual danger is the light your device emits – the light interferes with the body’s natural rhythm, effectively tricking our bodies into believing that it is daytime! The light emitted by devices has a lot of blue light, which has a very stimulating effect, and too much exposure at night will upset your circadian rhythm.
So if you ever woke up in the middle of the night, do not pick your phone, no matter how itching it is! This will disturb your sleep even more!
